Congratulations to the winners of our annual awards, including Most Valuable Back, Most Valuable Forward, and the Dennis Shade award (formerly known as the Dude award).

Austin White walked away with (2) awards...Hands of stone, and Most Valuable Forward.  Explain that one :)  Congrats on a killer season Austin!

Jordan Miller won Most Valuable Back.  Congrats Jordan...we're going to miss the heck out of you next year!

Matt Verga also went home with some hardware...The Keith Branton Award (rookie of the year) for his stellar first season at inside center.  Congrats Matt!

John "Puppy Dogg" Lesniewski went home with The Dennis Shade award...formerly known as the "Rugby Dude" award.  This is given to the club member that does the most for Erie Rugby off the field of play.  Congrats Pup!

Bill "Doc"  Bambrich took home the Athletic Supporter for his continuous support for the Erie Rugby Club.  Doc makes his way to every game...home and away!  Thanks for the support doc!!

James "JJ" Brown has announced that "once my boots wear out...I'm done".  In other words, he will be retiring from full time play before long.  Hopefully the rugby gods will keep them together for a few more years:)

Jeremy Jaeger wobbled home with the Fatboy Award.  After a (2) year stint in North Cackalackie...he found himself addicted to Bar-B-Q and other fattening southern cuisine, leaving him much bigger than when he left :)  Thanks fellas...

Dan(tastic) Wingerter recieved the Dantastic Vision Award for his incredible ability to pass the ball to the guy on the other team!  All joking aside...dan had a great season this fall, playing anywhere he would fit including 8-man (man of the match), fullback, center, wing...I think he even got in a match at flyhalf!  Keep up the good work danny...
