!!! Alumni Weekend / Family Day -- This Saturday !!!

Come out and join us for a wonderful day of Rugby! The Erie Rugby Club men's team will compete in a friendly match against The Erie Alumni team, which will consist of any previous Erie rugger (retired or moved on) that wants to play! We will have refreshment's on hand for all Erie Rugby Club members, family, and friends! The game will be hosted at The Boy's and Girl's Club of Erie football field, which has bleachers and porto-potties on site!

Post-match social will be located at Bob's Boathouse! We will be providing a feast, music, and with the neighboring cottage removed...we will have plenty of room to stretch out! If you are a former member and would like to get some playing time for the Erie Alumni team, please contact John Lesniewski at 814-456-9599. If you want to simply come out and watch the game & reminisce about the good old days...you are also more than welcome!

Last year we had Glen Szymzak, Ken Smith, Mike McNamara, Jamie Szymzak, and Jack Jaeger take the pitch, and even Doc Bill Bambrich (70+ yrs old?) got some time in among quite a few other old faces!! Keith Branton, club founder, was also on hand to ref the match!

Doc Bill was honored with the Man of the Match award at the post-match social.
